FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

THERE ARE ANSWERS

There are many programs to help those that might go hungry without help/  We suggest that you begin by looking in the GOVERNMENT PAGES of your local phone book. Read all the entries under local, state and federal government.  You might be amazed at how many programs there are that you have never heard of.  We suggest calling anything that sounds like there might be a chance that they can help.

We also suggest calling any type of charitable organization in the area and asking them for advice.  For instance they might not be able to help, but most of them will know who can.  Also, many churches offer free food to those in need.  Most often this is done without question, in complete privacy and you need not be a member of the church.  Call local churches in your area and ask them where you can find these kinds of programs.
